Itinerary
Day 1-
Evening Departure From New York (U.S. Group Members)
Day 2-
Arrival in Kemet (Egypt). Check in to Hotel in Cairo. Group Orientation and Introduction (Meet and Greet). Dinner
Day 3-
Breakfast . Visit the Egyptian Museum. Lunch. Visit The Makan (Egyptian Center for Culture and Art) for Mazaher performance. Dinner.
Day 4-
Breakfast. Visit the Saqarra Monuments (Old Kingdom), The Step Pyramid of Nisu Djoser Build by his Vizier, the Great Ancestor Imhotep.Visit Giza, the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Ka-ef-ra, and The Pyramid of Men-kau-Ra. Visit Heru-m-Akhet (The Sphinx).
Return to Hotel. Dinner.
Day 5-
Early Morning Flight to Luxor, Egypt. Visit the Magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, The Valley of Kings, The Valley of Queens. See the Gigantic Twin Statues of Nisu (King) Amen-Hotep III ("The Colossi of Memnon".) Check in to Hotel in Luxor. Dinner
Day 6-
Breakfast. Morning Drive to Abydos and Dendera to visit the Temples of Seti I (The Osirian Temple), and the Temple of Het Heru. Return to Luxor Dinner
Day 7-
Breakfast. Visit the Temple of Luxor and The Temple of Karnak. Both of these Temple are in honor and service of the nTrw Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu, and also contain shrines for several other nTrw. Visit the Luxor Museum. Dinner
Day 8-
Breakfast. Checkout of hotel. Visit Valley of The Nobles. Check Into Cruise. Free Afternoon and Evening in Luxor. Lunch and Dinner will be on cruise ship.
Day 9-
Breakfast. Banana Beach (Optional). Alabaster Shop (Optional). Cruise disembarks in the evening for Edfu. Lunch and Dinner on ship.
Day 10-
Breakfast.
Visit the Temple of Heru Behudet in Edfu, the Great nTr of War. Return to the Cruise Ship and Continue to Sail South into Nubyit (Kom Ombo) and Visit the Double Temple of Heru War and Sobek. While there we will also Visit the Sobek (Crocodile) Museum, which features the mummified Crocodiles that served as the Sacred Animals of the nTr Sobek. Return to Ship. Dinner. Continue to Sail South into Aswan, Nubia.
Lunch and Dinner
Day 11-
Breakfast. Arrive in Aswan, Nubia. Visit the Nubian Museum, The "Unfinished Obelisk" (Stone Quarry), The Botanical Gardens, Visit (by boat) the Beautiful Temple of Auset at the Island of Philae. Lunch and Dinner on Ship.
Day 12-
Early Morning Check out of ship. Drive South to Abu Simbel, Nubia, to Visit the Temples of Ra-Herukhuti and Het Heru. Built By Nisu Rameses II. The Temple of Het Heru was Built By Rameses in honor of his Great Royal Wife Nefertari, a Nubian Woman. Return to Aswan. Check into Guest House in Nubian Village. Dinner.
Day 13 –
Free Day (Enjoy Beautiful Aswan!)
Sitdown with Nubian Elder. Dinner at Guest House.
Day 14 –
Stay at Nubian Village, explore the life and culture of the Nubians.
Day 15 –
Breakfast. Afternoon Flight to Cairo. Check into Hotel.
Free Evening in Cairo. Prepare to Leave Kemet
