The Rebirth of An Ancient Tradition
When Ausar and Auset first came to Kamit, they found the land and its People in a state of Chaos. The land was uncultivated and the People had reverted to cannibalism. Ausar and Auset began the process of bringing civilization to the people by teaching them the Knowledge of Self (Their innate Divine Potential). They taught them how to work together, cultivate the land, Venerate their Ancestors, and Service the Neteru (Divine Forces of Nature and Ancestors). After Maat was established in the Land, the people came together to become a Nation of high culture and civilization, and Ausar and Auset became their King and Queen Mother. It is said that their inauguration took place in a city called Henensu.
